For now, enjoy this classic moment of hilarity in gratuitous medieval violence from Monty Python and the Holy Grail, and consider how you and your learning community might select video clips or gifs as metaphors in multimedia messages in your communication. So, yeah, this is still disturbingly funny, and, yeah, I am using it as a metaphor for prolonging the glory/agony of ML4ML.
What messages am I sending by posing this funny clip as a metaphor for the ML4ML reboot? Not sure; am I King Arthur failing to enlist fellow crusaders to my cause, and then failing to kill the thing that stands in my way? Or, am I the Black Knight taking mortal wound after humiliating wound only to come back undaunted for more punishment while absurdly blustering on about my potent prowess in vanquishing the power that has come calling? What do you think? More importantly, what crossroads are you at and what video clip, image or gif could you use to express your situation in metaphor? Try it, and share it, and if you dare, find moments to engage your learning community in such shenanigans, and ask each other the usual routine about purpose and message and techniques and representations and... "You have proved yourself worthy; will you join me?"
